I’m someone who loves celebrating special occasions in style, and Indian attire has always been a part of those memorable moments. While I don’t wear it daily, I cherish the opportunities to explore new styles and trends for weddings and special events. Every outfit feels like a unique piece of art, and for my wedding day, I knew it had to be something extraordinary.

How did you discover Khajana Boutique, and what inspired your bridal outfit?

I’ve known Shaina, the owner of Khajana Boutique, for over a decade. She’s always been my go-to for Indian outfits because of her creativity and attention to detail. For my wedding day, there was no question about where I’d get my bridal outfit. Shaina has this incredible ability to not only understand your vision but to elevate it into something that feels truly personal and extraordinary.

The outfit was everything and beyond what I’d imagined. Wearing it on my wedding day made me feel like the best version of myself. I received so many compliments from friends and family, and it was clear that Shaina had outdone herself once again.

Tell us about your love story.

It wasn’t exactly a fairy tale start. I first met Saagar at a coconut ceremony for our best friends’ wedding. We exchanged a few words at the after-party, but I didn’t think much of it at the time. Little did I know, my best friend had already taken on the role of matchmaker behind the scenes, planting the idea of “us” in both of our heads. Fate stepped in during a Memorial Day BBQ hosted by the couple. Saagar and I finally had a proper conversation while I was busy helping my friend set up in the kitchen. From that moment, something clicked. Shortly after, my best friend—fully embracing her role as "Seema Aunty"—slid into Saagar’s DMs and gave him my number. I was shocked at first, but when I got a text from him, everything started to fall into place. We started talking, went on dates, and quickly realized we had something special. He had every quality I was looking for in a life partner, and before we knew it, we were married. It’s been a beautiful journey, and I couldn’t imagine spending my life with anyone else.
